The Portuguese Man o’ War is not, in fact, a jellyfish.

Instead, it is a species of siphonophore. Siphonophores are comprised of a colony of specialized, genetically identical individuals called zooids — clones — with various forms and functions that all work together as one. The Portuguese Man o’ War is made up of 4 different parts.
