Science fact of the day: Umbriel has a bright ring

Umbriel, one of Uranus’ larger moons, has a mysterious bright ring on its surface.

The ring is approximately 90 miles in diameter.

Scientists don’t yet know what created this unique feature, but believe it may be from frost deposits associated with an impact crater.
