Thieves take mini fridge from frat house while students outside playing putt putt

A University of Georgia student reported the theft of a mini fridge from his fraternity house on South Lumpkin Street.

The student told police that he and his roommates had met a group of girls in downtown Athens and that the girls, accompanied by three guys, went with them as they returned to the frat house.

He reported that after showing the mini fridge to the guests, they all went outside to play putt putt with a shovel while everyone was drinking.

At some point the male guests left and it wasn’t until some time later that the $100 appliance was noticed to be missing,

The pink mini fridge was said to have be pink with the sticker of a pig on it.
