Victim yet to be identified in fiery crash of pickup truck in east Athens

At around 2:53 AM on July 7 the Athens Clarke-County Police Department responded to a single-vehicle crash involving a Chevrolet pickup truck at Herman and Vine streets.

Arriving officers found the vehicle fully engulfed in flames. Due to the circumstances, the identity of the driver and vehicle have yet to be confirmed.
