Thousands of students and UGA community members attended a vigil Monday afternoon on the Tate Student Center Plaza for Laken Riley, who was murdered Thursday in a UGA recreational area where she had gone to go running, and Wyatt Banks, who committed suicide in the Brumby Hall dormitory building last week.
Two Greek organizations, Alpha Chi Omega sorority and Kappa Sigma fraternity, of which the students were members, organized the tribute.
