Woman indicted for shooting teenagers in downtown Athens

A Madison County woman has been indicted for a shooting incident downtown last fall that left three teenagers wounded.

Tatianna Ambria Wilbon, 24, of Comer, was charged with three counts each of aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, according to the indictment filed in Athens-Clarke County Superior Court.

The shooting happened just before 4 a.m. on September 28th on East Clayton Street where a fight reportedly had occurred.

Police previously said that the victims were Athens residents who were 14 and 15 years old.

They are identified in the indictment as Jordan Wilhite, Nakiyah Taylor, and Faith Barnett.

Wilbon continues to be held without bail and is scheduled to be arraigned on January 28th.
