Keyshona Denise Parrish, 31, of West Carver Drive, was arrested Monday night after she allegedly purposely drove her Jeep into her ex-boyfriend’s car.
According to police, the victim reported that Parrish had followed him as he drove from Danielsville Road until she rammed her Jeep into the back of his car on Oconee Street and then drove away.
“This occurred in a traffic work zone, while raining with extremely wet roads, at night and in medium traffic, creating a probability for severe injury or death, the arresting officer wrote in his report.
Parrish reportedly called 911 to report that the man had actually backed his car into her Jeep, and in a separate 911 call claimed that the Jeep had been stolen.
When looking into the couple’s history, the officer found that Parrish had been arrested for aggravated assault two weeks earlier for trying to run down the victim at a gas station.
Parrish was located when her Jeep was tracked down by police using license plate reading cameras.
She was arrested on charges of aggravated assault, aggravated stalking, criminal damage to property, leaving the scene of an accident, DUI, possession of an open container of alcohol in a vehicle, and falsely reporting a crime.
She is being held without bail in pretrial detention at the county jail.
