By Joe Johnson

A 28-year-old Athens man earlier this month committed suicide by hanging.

His grandfather found him in a storage building on their property.

He told police that the last time he saw his grandson was the day before when he confronted him about money that was taken from his account through several transactions.

Help is available by calling the Georgia Crisis and Access Line (GCAL) at 1-800-715-4225. Individuals can also call or text 988 or access assistance via chat at www.988lifeline.org.

Oh. the 28 year old guy in Obits....cared deeply for the poor and indigent, among whom he lived at various times. Hmm see why he raided Grandpa's $$.

“There is but one truly serious philosophical problem, and that is suicide. Judging whether life is or is not worth living amounts to answering the fundamental question of philosophy.”
