Ryan Victor Snyder reportedly shot himself on December 4th with a gun he rented at the Athens Gun Club off Atlanta Highway. He died the following day in his home town of St. Louis, Missouri. Eastside Athens mobile home damaged by fire
By Joe Johnson A home was damaged by fire Friday at Winter Grove Mobile Home Park on Winterville Road. Two people were home at the time but they got of their trailer without being injured, said county Fire Marshal Kevin Kearney. He said the residents have been temporarily displaced due to their home being seriously damaged. Kearney sent investigators to the scene to conduct a cause and origin analysis.
