Engine 24, Rescue 4, Ladder 1 and Hazmat 1 responded to a vehicle on its side in front of Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center. Units on scene confirmed one individual was trapped.

Members stabilized the vehicle and extricated the victim, who was then transferred to National EMS for medical care.

Totally agree about wanting to goto St. Mary's instead !! My PCP and other area doctor's were part of Athens General. Piedmont came along and required PCP's to see more patients per hour. My PCP refused to betold how many patients he's sees along with alot of other doctor's. They left and joined St. Mary's !!!

I was gonna ask too, then I realized if it were me, I would want to go to St. Mary's. I try to avoid Piedmont at all costs, usually if I am there, it's because I am visiting someone. Could be the same with them.
